Now you've lost me. I never watched that. I'll stick to The Sopranos.

What about - and bear with me on this one! - David Tennant as Ilkar? He does do one line quips very well, can be jovial and suddenly turn all implacable and 'let's get the job done'. He's a good actor, and I think good actors can turn their hands to roles you wouldn't expect.

Pete Postlethwaite (another fine actor) could be a mage of some kind. Possibly Dystran, but maybe someone a little more cerebral.

I'm thinking about David Tennant. Not entirely anti-that choice, but still unsure.

Wonder if Pete Postlethwaite isn't too old to play Dystran, being about 60 now? Though I don't deny he's a great actor.

Eric Bana for Hirad.

If you've seen Chopper, you know he's got the attitude. Smile

Eric Bana is good, I wouldn't argue with that choice.

Ah but I didn't specify Hirad. I just said I wouldn't argue with the choice of Eric Bana. He could be in it and I wouldn't argue cos he's a good actor.
