Couldn't agree with you more! However, on the sporting side of it away from the money... I vote Other, since the voting seems to be over _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

I disagree on football being a waste of money. I'm off down to the Emirates Stadium (that's arsenals ground) tomorrow to watch the Arsenal v Liverpool game, and I can't wait! A football match is my favourite place to be, it brings a lot of entertainment and joy to me and a lot of other fans. |

I hate to say this as a Koppite, but it will be between Chelsea and the Mancs (but I can't bring myself to vote for either of them!). I thought we would challenge this year, but our away form has been dreadful, and we really need to do something about that. The performance at Old Trafford was embarrassing. _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |

I think by waste of money, DJ meant the wages players are paid and how much they cost to buy, especially in comparison to what it was like several decades ago.
I'm not entirely sure going to win. I'm still mulling over that idea which is why i've put other. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Parm, Red members have been able to get tickets for every single game this season, ok for the spurs, livepool, and newcastle games they have only been available to red members for an hour or so, but for the others I have seen tickets available to red members for a couple of days, just keep checking the site, I know someone who is a red member and has gone to every single home game this season, |

And yet you still cared enough to waste everyone else's time with a pointless snipe at a topic that other folks are genuinely interested in talking about...
Also interesting is the idea that you think football is a greater evil - wasting-money-wise - than, oh, I don't know... the war in Iraq? Heroin addiction? Alcohol abuse? Reality TV..? _________________ www.uksfbooknews.net - fantasy, sf, horror and graphic novel news from UK genre authors, creators and publishers.

Speaking as a Sunderland fan, trust me, some reality TV is preferable. _________________ Pagan Music |
