I wanted to ask if there are any Ravenbooks available as audiobooks. I rather enjoy listening to novels before falling asleep or while doing daily chores.

And if not any Ravenbooks, maybe some other?

Sincerely yours

Well, if you speak German then you can get the frist two German Raven books as downloadable audio books. The rest of the series will follow.

There are no other audio deals at the moment.

So after all these years it occurred to me the other day that the Raven books don't contain any of the other staples of fantasy worlds.

Aside from Elves and Dragons there aren't any other races or monsters. No Dwarves or Orcs and no sign of halflings.

This is true and deliberate although you could argue that 'magic' is a fantasy staple...

My drivers have always been character and plot and I use what I need to to enhance the story. Did you feel that the lack of staples as you saw them affected the books or enhanced them?
