I was just wondering. with the talk of ebooks and movies and other formats, if you'd ever considered the possibilty of the Raven books being released as comic books or graphic novels?

i'd love to see them as graphic novels but, like many other media, that isn't in my control. All I can do is make sure the books are as widely available and known as possible, get them in front of the right people when I can and hope for a bite.

I think the Raven would translate particularly well into graphic novel format.

I think it would be hard to get the scope of the Raven books into a graphic novel, and the author, ie. James would have to surrender character control to the illustrator who can follow your descriptions as tightly or as loosely as he/she wants.

I suppose it would depend on how well it was done. The full scope wouldn't be do-able, certainly, but a good artist and a good writer working in concert would be interesting... I'd be quite interested in seeing it!
