I have yet to convince anyone to read the raven , not for lack of trying , but i seem to get surounded by people who say things like , I had a friend who started to read it but someone was killed really early so he stopped ................grrrrr.

I recommended Dawnthief to my dad, and he loved it. he went on to read the next 5 and is now an avid fan. Hes going to start Ascendants soon!

Well, as none of my parents really likes fantasy I couldn't convince them to read them Rolling Eyes . But at least my mother knows tjat James Barclay is the name of a Fantasy-author Wink .

I ot a couple of mates into James Barclay.... One o' me mates from work couldn't get into me Pratchett books so i lent him the Raven books and he ended up getting the first assendants book before i did.
