The Script's album. Not many here would necessarily like it, but Jovial and Max, you guys might.

Okay, my new obsession - Hauk (no i'm not choking, as I've been asked before).

If you like classic rock with some folk infusions and the occasional heavy metal riff, check them out. They have some pagan inspired lyrics sometimes too, depending on their songs, but ultimately it sounds really different and cool. (In particular the song No Mercy)... Aceness Very Happy

Not listening as such, but repopulating my iPod after getting a new hard drive for the laptop. Amazing what stuff you have tucked away in your music collection, isn't it?! I'm such an Indie/Brit Pop kid at heart!

"The Art of War" by Sabaton. Swedish power metal, with lyrics devoted, as the title of the album suggests, to war and Sun-Tzu. One song, "40:1", made the band particularly dear to Polish metal fans, as it is devoted to battle of Wizna (WWII) and has these very nice lines:
"No army may enter that land
That is protected by Polish hand
Unless you are 40 to 1
Your force will soon be undone".

Hmm, heard of them, but haven't heard them Razz Though to be honest power metal isn't really my scene much these days... might give it a chance purely for the name and dedication though.

Purple Rainbows. A collection of tracks from Deep Purple, rainbow, Whitesnake, Gillan etc etc.

Because these boys were the masters, when all is said and done.

oooh Whitesnake. Not heard them in years. The closest i've got to the classics recently has been Black Sabbath.
Now where did I put that Status Quo cd? A tad different I grant you, but it got me into guitars so we shouldn't complain.
