That sounds like a great idea! Please don't make it July 24th though, it's my wedding anniversary and the wife would not be happy... _________________ Graeme's Fantasy Book Review

Sounds like Nottingham is a good choice for both you southerners and northerners _________________ Member and President of the Will Begman Appreciation Society.

You southerners get is all! I don't mind where it is, outside of London would be best for cost of accommodation and renting the place to have said party - unless we just decide to take over a random pub!
I've just come back from a weekend in Nottingham and it is a lovely city (if it wasn't for the gun crime...!) and lots of medieval looking buildings that would add atmosphere to the launch of a fantasy novel. _________________ "You know what Jack Burton always says... what the hell?" |

I like Nottingham... the taxi drivers do try to rip you off somewhat, though
It does seem to be turning into the majority vote this far _________________ Pagan Music |

The only place in Britain worse for violent crime than Grimsby... excellent, what could be better?
Nottingham's good for me too. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Violent crime is part of our history in Nottingham, just now days the bad guys rob from the poor and make themselves rich. _________________ Member and President of the Will Begman Appreciation Society.

Actually this could get interesting. Scrap Rob's toga idea and everyone can come dressed as a centurian. Then we could have fun on the streets of Nottingham with those nice shiny Gladius' _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

could I just come as a barbarian and bring a broad sword? _________________ "Right so we're going to steal a bomb that can be remote detonated, take it back to our base and then huddle around it? That sounds like a great plan." |

Think I'll join you , actually Broadswords are so much more fun. It also means certain collectors get to make use of their erm... collectors items?
Plus, barbarian is so much more appropriate for this book. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |
