Not sure if anyone else here will be aware of Frank Millers graphic novel '300' (based on the battle of thermopylae between the spartans and the persians.)
If you have read it you may be interested to know that the film has completed production and is set for release next march, and even if you havent read it, if the teaser trailer on the website doesnt make you want to travel to the future, there is something really very wrong!

Not read it, but it sounds well worth whatever they're charging for it. (don't quote me on that, i've yet to check). _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

i'd advise looking up at the first post of this thread dear ... and if you'd like I could full name you instead of calling you Sel ... and I know that that's much worse right Sel? _________________ Come see me at my other spot locations:

That looks absolutely superb. Been waiting for a decent film about that battle, only ever seen the old 1950s (was it 50s?) one. _________________ Pagan Music |

do you not think the war rhinos are a bit oTT, this could have been a portrayal of a group of very brave men facing the ultimate battle but this trailer makes it look like greece meets lord of the rings!.
hope some one does a Steven Pressfiled version of this story! |

Yes the rhinos looked a bit OTT, but it still looked damn good to me.
Could be a forum trip to the premier methinks..... _________________

More rhinos are needed in battles!
Nah, this looks really good. Hadn't heard of the graphic novel before, might have to have a look... _________________ Pagan Music |

I agree, movies that use wild animals as war animals as weapons are usually pretty cool, me i'd soon like to see some war-monkeys or war-giraffes ... I think Giraffes wold be cool, they could have baskets on top of their heads where archers stand and fire arrows ... ... hmmm maybe not _________________ Come see me at my other spot locations:
