I'm just about to start "Across the Face of the World" by Russell Kirkpatrick.

I bought this at Fancon last year when Lizzy and the others went into a seminar and i couldn't be arsed, sat in a queit corner for a while and read a few pages, a couple of chapters later.......

Read the whole of Memoirs Of A Geisha by Arthur Golden yesterday. Great book.
Currently re-reading Noonshade, but I don't have Nightchild wth me. Noooo!

I've just finished Voice of the Gods by Trudi Canavan, it being the last book in her Age of the Five trilogy.

A pleasant enough read but alas nothing more than that and at the risk of sounding spectacularly big-headed I'd guessed the ending half way through the first book! Shocked

If you've read the other two you'll want to read this but it's not a patch on her Black Magician trilogy to which she is thankfully returning for her next book. Laughing

whereas currently reading 'a spell for chameleon' by Piers Anthony it's actually really well paced but they are surgestive in places.

Hang on a minute grace you read the whole of memoirs?, jeez now thats good going , im loving it but i havent even got halfway yet !!, how can people read so fast ! (probably a good topic , reading habits and the like , how many books do people read etc) .

Yep, Futre, I read very fast, especially on holiday.
I read several books a week on average, though a lot less at school.
I'm not surprised you can't get into Memoirs.

i think for me that comes down to my mood and how good the book is. The Piers Anthony 'Xanth' one i finished in less than a week.
