I'm reading a Chadbourn (that'll please Lizzy, I'm sure). Age of Misrule book 1, World's End. Most enjoyable so far...

Winterbirth by Brain Ruckley

Summary:
It is a godless world. An uneasy truce exists between the human clans and ancient races. But now the clan of the Black Road move south, and their arrival will herald a new age of war and chaos. Behind it all seems to be one man, Aeglyss, a man whose desire for power will only be sated when he has achieved his ultimate goal: immortality.

took a little getting past the complicated structure of the disparate communities and the names etc, but im 3/4 of the way through and its a good book well worth the read.

I cant decide between the Artemis Fowl books I've yet to read, The Crow Road by Banks, Nocturne by Chadbourn, Blood Tears by Raven Dane, or one of the Gemmell's I've yet to read......

Think I'll draw straws...

Just finished The Eternal by Mark Chadbourn, one of his older ones and you can see how his writing has progressed but enjoyable nonetheless Smile

Put me in mind of Terminator Cool

Yes I have Selik. I went for Waylander II in the end. Thing with Gemmell, like James' books, they are like looking up old friends, and atm with all the chaos around home that's just what I need. Very Happy

good choice i believe.

if you want some dirty political, blood thirsty fantasy read A Game of Thrones by GrrM.

even 4th time around its still excellent!
