Went to see Hot Fuzz in the cinema last night. One word. FANTASTIC! A very funny film. With great cameos, my favourite being the one with Stephen Merchant.
In my opinion I would say Shaun of the Dead is funnier. Pegg and Frost play better characters, and the humour is drier.
And Goal 2 is also a quality film. Munez and Harris are now playing in Madrid. Some parts are a little farfetched, like how an 8 year old kid, can steal a Ferrari or Lamborghini from a big party crash it and only have a cut on his head. And how Munez never scores a bad goal, its always outside of the box, 20 yeard volleys or dribbling past 7 defenders and slotting the ball home.
The best part about the film though is wait for it...Steve McManaman. He makes the film, I found it impossible not to laugh when he was on screen. What a hero!
Go see them both, you won't be disappointed! _________________ Excuse me, is your refrigerator running? Because if it is, it probably runs like you - very homosexually - Peter Griffin |

i agree, it was just as good, maybe even better than shaun of the dead.
At it was SO delightfully gloucestershire! What forest accents!
a rocking good film, but I didn't like the gory bits. I'm such a lightweight |

I thought that was due to my hitting you
Hot Fuzz was brilliant. Honestly I think I prefered it to Shaun of the Dead. Tim Dalton so had fun making this and I don't think I can ever go past a Somerfield shop and not think of the scene with the miniature Somerfield lorry and the church. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Hot Fuzz was awsome saw it today , not in the same league as sean of the dead I have to say , but fine holiday fun none the less , two thumbs up . Good to see loads of old english actors crammed into it also , Edward Woodward and that guy who was Beloche in Indiana Jones, Raiders of the lost Arc. _________________ I always knew Chang was Chinese Intelligence.

Just got to see this on DVD. Very very funny. I think I enjoyed it all the more for the insider knowledge I have about where it was filmed. And the farmer with all the firearms and the bomb was my old neighbour, right down to the accent _________________
