thought some of you might like to see this info regarding anew book

Last week saw the release of Stephen Hunt's brilliant The Court of the Air by Voyager - and to mark the event we've created a cartoon, which you can watch here (along with on all your favourite online video sites - should you have them! - from YouTube to Myspace and back again):

To find out more about the book, and to read an article written by Stephen about his writing's relationship to Tolkein, visit the campaign site we're running with SciFind.co.uk at:

Court of the Air was a pretty cool read actually. I've been going through a bit of a Victorina thing at the moment and the book is a real treat.

Kinda like a bit of a steampunk theme, with HG Wells like technology and a bit of magic thrown in. The book reminded me slightly of The Light Ages by Ian R. MacLeod in it's setting and how 'magic' is attained.

If you like the sound of a book that has airships, steam driven robotic knights and possessed pistols then this book is for you.

My only disapointment was the ending... it felt a little rushed and just used to tie up lose ends that could have quite happily been left hanging.
