Does anyone else agree that Pennant is an absolute tool?

It seems everytime he gets tackled, he whines. Everytime he tries to tackle someone and the ref blows for a foul, he whines. Its amazing. He's a grown man, and he stamps his feet like a child when something goes against him!

Pennant has the ability to be better than he is at the moment. I think we (Liverpool) spent too much money on him, but I think he is one of the best crossers of the ball in England on his day. That's the thing thoughl he has too many 'anonymous' days. It's almost like there's a great player waiting to burst out of him (just like with SWP, Joey Barton etc), but he needs a bit more of a kick/supporting hand.

Definitely not a complete tool though. Although I think Liverpool is his last chance at 'the big time'.

PS - Lizzy, he's a footballer who plays for Liverpool. Went to jail a few years ago for a couple of months because of drink driving and then had to wear a tag when he came out. When he was 15 he was the next great English hope.

I don't think he's in the same league as SWP and Joey barton. He doesn't seem to have the attitude needed to improve either. A total waste of talent

On his day he's very good. His problem is he sulks too much and has 'his day' too little. Basically he doesn't like being kicked. It's going to happen - he's a spped freak, not everyone can catch him and take the ball perfectly every time. I get kicked weekly..!!

Nah, he's nowhere near the quality of Lennon or SWP. Barton's just another idiot.

Joey Barton is immense, he's no idiot. Look at the performances hes been giving for City, he's like a one man midfield.

I must disagree with you there Driz. He's a changed player, a good example of my point i have been trying to make to Futre4 in another thread!
