Actually Dan's thinking of coming anyway so.... lol. Yeah right. Bring half of Grimsby down with me. It's meant to be a weekend AWAY from Grimsby. Laughing

Busman's holiday? Very Happy

Hehe... should be fun either way. I wonder if there's more poor butchers carting meat through the town in a shopping trolley... Shocked

The lateste guests of honour have been announced and, as with last year, there are some big names.

Foremost among them will be Terry Brooks. This is the guy responsible for the Word/Void and Shannara books and he has a MASSIVE following so now that he's been (as things currently stand) confirmed for September methinks the places will fill up quite quickly.

So, book up quick one and all. I'll be doing so shortly!

I think I will be around the Friday and Saturday - I have a place to stay in Notts, so will drive down after work on the Friday.

Sad

Sorry guys, Lou and I won't be attending this year. At least not unless there's a drastic increase in my finances. Currently we have too many things on our lists which require funding before FanCon can be even thought about (damned car needs a new clutch, for starters).

Unless lottery numbers come up, we'll be saving for Derby 2008.
