Mother Earth is an excellent choice. Their first full length album _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Within Temptation. Great, but not vocally up to the same standards as Nightwish. _________________ Taking off is optional, landing is mandatory. |

I'll play the blues for you, Albert King.
I find blues is good to listen to when you're feeling down.
Also when you're feeling good.
It's good to listen to all the time _________________ Ian Fulguirinas(dragonkillernz) |

Sharon Den Adel far surpasses Tarja!! Me thinketh thee need to hear Silent Force.
There are many times when Tarja often appears to be straining to hit certain notes, particularly if you watch her carefully, she often seems to struggle, whereas Den Adel hits the notes with no trouble every time. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Yes, Silent Force is much better. On Mother Earth her voice seems weak to me. _________________ Taking off is optional, landing is mandatory. |

I think their music style is gradually changing with each album and the songs on Silent Force were more demanding on her voice, which she managed with exceptionally well.
I'm not sure about the new one. There's a distinctly popish theme in their new song, though it's still retaining their metal roots, but the verses are very un-metal like if that makes sense.
Still, it's a damn good song and hearing the new album will be interesting. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Listened to Heores - The Anthems. It's a compilation album with people like Bowie, The Jam, Primal Scream and The Modern Lovers. This was on the head phones while I was training.
Now listening to Quartet by Ultravox.

An Cat Dubh - Willy Boy
Father, father make me a grave
dig it long and dig it deep
on the head lie a gentle dove
so the world may know, that I died of love. _________________ The question that sometimes drives me hazy: Am I, or the others crazy?
