?9.99 in Waterstones for a one-volume trilogy - not half bad! Very Happy

Well I hope you do enjoy it. But I do realise it's not everyone's cup of tea .

Raven was not impressed with the rogue copies Razz Looking forward to getting mine (non-rogue that is).
Certainly sounds like it's going to be awesome. Smile

Break no Bones by Kathy Reichs.
Better than the last one, at least it seems so after 4 chapters.

Currently about 230 pages into my 'Age of Misrule' omnibus by one Mark Chadbourn. Lizzy will be pleased to know it's, thus far, a damned enjoyable read. I'm actually a little confused as to why I didn't enjoy it when I tried reading years ago.... ah, well, onwards! Very Happy

Glad you're enjoying it - I found the series a thoroughly enjoyable read (thanks to Lizzy as well!!!).

Just finished 'Every Dead Thing' by John Connolly. It's a detective story in the first person, and I'm told it slowly mutates into a horror story as the series continues. Just about to start the second book - Dark Hollow.

Just finished Raven Dane's 'Blood Lament', the second in her trilogy.

As Andy says it's brilliant. So much better than her first (which itself was a great read). This time set in modern day times, and slightly in the future by about two or three years (it spans about 7 years I believe).
Much better editing in this book too which made it all the more enjoyable.
Slightly shorter than the first novel, but no less gripping, if not more so.

Overall thoroughly good read... now I just wait for book three and then the prequel!! Twisted Evil

Thought you'd enjoy it! Laughing I suspect I'm going to have to buy a copy just to see how the ending in mine differs from the ending in the published books. Shocked
