Yes indeed, but I've got to buy it first. I hate being broke. |
All group together to buy the book for Grace. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Just finished Knights of Dark Renown, another excellent tale by the much missed David Gemmell.
Before that it was Slawter by Darren Shan - can't make up my mind about these (Lord Loss & Demon Thief being the first two) - they're ostensibly childrens stories but are quite dark, not a bad read but not enough depth for me! _________________ "Constant Vigilance!" |

about 100 pages in and so far...i can see why some people like it, i find the language a bit cluncky and overly fussy, the concept is good, just so far lacking the style i like.
Im reading it for a book club discussion..other wise id have put it down by now. |

I'm still reading A Storm of Swords! I can't remember the last time I took this long to finish a book. I either don't have the time to read or I'm too shattered to bother. Phew! _________________ Taking off is optional, landing is mandatory. |

Just finished Double or Die by Charlie Higson, the third in the Young Bond series - nothing too dark or too deep but a fine read and I love the Eton backdrop - the other two weren't bad either _________________ "Constant Vigilance!" |

Am reading Dark Moon, by David Gemmell - a good page turner, with some interesting characters. I like Tarantio/Dace, and Karis is good fun! _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |

Lizzy! I bought the entire 'Age of Misrule' trilogy this weekend. Told you I'd give them another go...!!
?9.99 in Waterstones for a one-volume trilogy - not half bad! _________________ Pagan Music |

I bought the Earthsea Quartet...I've read the Wizard of Earthsea but when I went in to buy Cry of the Newborn at the bookstore, I saw this 4-in-1 volume and couldn't resist, so I bought both...I'm saving Cry of the Newborn for the weekend though, and going to (hopefully) read it all in one go. _________________ Ian Fulguirinas(dragonkillernz) |
