We had Christmas plays at school but we never did the nativity.

Little boy did his nativity today and we went and watched. he was an angel Very Happy Crying or Very sad
So sweet!!

I was never in the nativity but I did get to be Jack Forst in one christmas play. I practically invented that scary waggly fingers thing when I was 6.

I was a shephard, then I was an angel. lmao, now that's a joke. Bloody nativity plays.
Apparently, my nephew is taking after auntie again and being an angel in the play.
Damn religious schools!! Sad

thats what i mean, they will have the multicultural festival of light where no christian symbols are allowed but in the intrest of merging cultures the kids will worship islam, allah, buddha and all other gods .....

I could of course get arsey about this and say that technically speaking Paganism was the belief of all British people long before christianity came along and therefore it wouldn't be out of place to have a christmas play that has nothing to do with christmas, but perhaps I shouldn't go there, huh?

I was never in a nativity play, i remember having to write it in our own words, I think I've still got it, probably ends up with jesus being visited by santa!

I was always third shepherd for some reason... tea towel and snake belt on head etc. My line was always hte same too:

'Let us go unto Bethlehem and see this thing which has come to pass.'

It is writing of such quality that inspired the likes of Tolstoy, you know.
