So it's been a while since we had a new topic and I had an idea whilst browsing the nanowrimo forums. Basically, I read primarily for escapism and I'm sure alot of others do to. So the proof of a good book is that it transports you somewhere and its real like you've woken up there. Then even after reading the book you can recall these memories and sensations like they actually happened.

So this thread is dedicated to those moments that you've experienced:

For me one such moment is waking up on a grassy hillside on a fresh, early morning. The air is slightly cold with a hint of mist and the grass is damp. I'm lying down and I can see the unknown standing, staring into the distance.
