Well, how do we all feel about low fantasy?

I'm currently in the middle of writing an online story, and would very much like people to read and enjoy it.

It's set in the sprawling world of Alinecasa, and is a low fantasy with a dash of the fairie tayle mixed in. I guess in some ways it is similar to the Ascendants' books, but i guess i'll have to write more before i know how similar...

*thinks* Hmm, I've not written about a taxman yet... lol

Well anyway, plageurism aside (don't worry JB, i'm not stealing your ideas), I think that the majority of people on this forum would possibly enjoy it, so i thought i'd just throw it out there.

The site is BreakerKoH.blogspot.com
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as i enjoy writing it

Take a look, comment if you hate it, comment if you don't hate it, just let me know. Very Happy

For all those that care: Volume Two, Heretics (a provisional title) has begun. to coincide with this, i have 'created' a FaceBook group to keep my veritable army of fans (i wish) up to date with any new developments.

I'll take a peek when I get a mo, Cochin (though I don't really do that sort of thing as a rule).

Won't be til the New Year though - totally snowed right now.

Wow, that's cool. I'd be very honoured to have you look at my lowly works. *bows before the Barclay, our god of fantasy*
Very Happy

What's the difference between high and low fantasy?

in my opinion (little that it's worth), high fantasy has a large and common amount of magic, which is fairly easy to procure / use / etc.
Low fantasy has little magic in comparison.

Well, that's my shillings worth.
