I didn't get a chance to mention this at the weekend (stupid having to visit my in-laws...) but I've got copies of the 'Night Angel Trilogy' (Brent Weeks) and the 'Mistborn Trilogy' (Brandon Sanderson) to give away on the Blog if anyone fancies their chances...

Liking the look of the Alan Lee illustrations Smile My apologies if the email comes through a little odd. It seems to want everything in double-line spacing!

All emails are gratefully received regardless of what they look like (although spam emails offering me the chance to 'enhance' certain parts of my anatomy will not be accepted as entries... Wink )

What was originally going to be a review of Charles de Lint's forthcoming novel 'The Mystery of Grace' has suddenly become a competition where I'm giving away once advance copy. Have a click right Here if you fancy having a go...

Quick note of thanks to Deonoth; I won the Merchant Prince series in a recent giveaway, so I'm looking forward to reading those when they arrive!

I've just finished The Merchant Prince series by Charles Stross (which I won on Deornoth's site!). Really good, alternate world fantasy series (with volumes four and five - I think - still to come) although some of the dialogue seemed to jump to conclusions I couldn't quite follow. Certainly worth a read though, as the alternate world differences really unsettle you as you know they're not quite 'right' but you feel part of the world. Will have to look up the next volume(s).
