And actually, now i'm kind of interested in before Atreska was part of the Conquord. Sort of, how Yuran became who he is in COTN. I get the feeling that'd be an interesting read, especially after the bit you get to know about from his talking to Safinn.

In answer to your original question, all I have to say is this:

%&***^@@@?:#

Does that help?

Razz excellent, thanks.

What it did say before it apparenly gave up on life and died, was that I was wondering what in the end happened to Yuran. I'm assuming he was executed with Megan becoming Marshall Defender and all.

So i've either missed something, which wouldn't surprise me, or his actually having been killed wasn't mentioned?

SPOILER SPOILER FOR SHOUT FOR THE DEAD

No, he was imprisoned rather than executed in exchange for information. And there he still rots...

oops, guess I missed that rather largely important piece of information. Hmm, perhaps a bookmark might be a good present this year Rolling Eyes

It's very early in the novel, first chapter AFAIR, when Yuran negotiates with Megan and Jhered.

How old is Yuran? And, for that matter, how old is Megan?

I always saw Yuran as being a similar age, or somewhere between the ages of Vasselis and Jhered.
Megan... no idea.

I have kind of a stupid question: How many books does the series have? The names too please Smile

Edit:

Doesn't matter anymore, I figured it out all by myself Very Happy

2 books in english, each having 2 parts - Cry of the newborn and Shout from the dead.

I asked this, because the stupid germans published it in 4 volumes each having an individual name (not a literary translation of the english titles)... This confused me. Hmm... Should have bought the english version in the first place. Sad These german translations are really bad.

Maybe you could hire me to do your translations James? Wink I do this for a living Very Happy and I'm pretty good at it Smile

Ok, finished the books, and I have some questions:

1. How come, ascendant fathers don't know their sons? They have to know the mother, so it shouldn't be that hard to figure out wih one is their child... I would like an explanation of the whole procedure.
