normally i'd start having a dig on a threadlike this but old Jim used to be an oxford great (wobble head as he was named for his wobbly noggin when he ran)
also Jim loaned us a great new youngster Jordan Rhodes...if you have not seen him watch out he will make your first team. |

Have heard about this Rhodes lad. Hopefully great things will come of him. In a blue shirt for the Town of course.
As for home vs away, it is becoming a real monkey on our backs and pressure mounts to win every match at Portman Road. For me, it's all about defending to the death for the first 20 mins away and not conceding a goal. I think we go out all guns blazing and that is fine at home but not always on the road.
I'd just be happy with an away clean sheet in a dull 0-0...
And beware Scunthorpe tomorrow. It'll be a so-called 'lesser' club that trips us up at home. We need to respect every oppo that turns up and play at our best.

You were almost right Still turned them over though...
Anyone heard anything on the 'Jon Walters to Newcastle' rumour? (Think I saw it on the BBC website) Sounds like a 'slow news day rumour' but I hope it doesn't happen... _________________ Graeme's Fantasy Book Review

Also cursed with being an ipswich fan !! Im from felixstowe, just outside ipswsich.
Allardyce has already rubished the rumour linking him with walters which is good news for us!! he has been a relevation this season, absolute steal at 200k from chester.
I was at the scunthorpe game, bit crap but we won so move on. Bit worried about burnley though, they have already beat watford, westbrom charlton and wolves away this season
Takeover went through last night which is good news, with the investment and a few decent players signed in january we should aim for at least the playoffs. |

Yep - Felixstowe and Walton United, who play in the Ridgeons League. It's the ninth tier of the English league structure. _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |
