Where'd you hear that, Andy? As I understood it, there was only one ending cos Raven refused to change any of it.

Just finished Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill. Hooked me in from the start.

For those who don't know it, the story is a middle aged rock star called Jude, buys a ghost off the internet, which arrives in the form of a dead man's suit in a heart-shaped box. No messing about whether the things that then happen are due to a ghost or Jude's imagination, it's the ghost and he's out to get Jude and all who help him.

It's bloody great and I could barely put it down this weekend, only the building of dams and sandcastles on Daymer Bay and Polzeath Beach could interrupt me Very Happy

(oh and if you didn't know Joe Hill is Stephen King's son, he got published without anyone knowing that Cool )

Rhapsody - Elizabeth Haydon

I thought it was going to be weird but in fact so far it is an enjoyable read.

Shout for the Dead, by James Barclay Razz

I walked into Scorpio (literally the only decent bookstore in Christchurch) and it was just sitting there...I was going to buy tickets for a concert (for Pluto, as it happens, whose CD I sent to Lizzy) but I use the money to buy the book...a wise decision I think, a book will last me longer Razz

I've just finished Stardust by Neil Gaiman (mainly 'cause I heard they are making a film anf thought I ought to read it first!) and really enjoyed it! If the film is a patch on the book it will be a good watch. Laughing

Just finished 'Smoke and Mirrors' by Neil Gaiman. A collection of funny, erotic, perverse, and generally bizarre stories. I liked most of them, and was disturbed by quite a few as well!
