Lou and I went to see this over the weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Good effects, good sountrack and - though it pains me to say it - good acting from Nicolas cage.

Check you brain at the door, get comfy, and enjoy watching a fella with a flamin skull for a head kick ass for a couple of hours!

Bugger it, I've added a poll...

I thought this movie sucked...utter rubbish, no sign of talent from anyone in the film, I know its comic book...but this blowed! even cage could not save it.

I saw Snake eyes years ago , and it has the biggest flaw EVER in a movie , if i remember rightly Gary Sinise has nicolas Cage in the corner guilty as hell its over basically , THEN he just admits it and gives it up man what an idiot. Best Cage movie - 9mm that was suspensful and dark ....woops I seemed to have turned this into a what is your fave nick Cage movie post Embarassed .

I like Nic Cage. I thoroughly enjoyed him and John Travolta in Face Off. And in The Rock

He was in a film years ago with Mickey Rourke called Rumble Fish...I remember thinking that was good but it was 20 years ago Shocked

There are others but those will do for now.

Plus I fancy the pants off him Very Happy

I doubt I'll go to see Ghost Rider though, probably wait til it's on dvd

Sucked? Sucked? Ghost Rider did not suck! I'm a huge anti-nic cage person, mainly cos generally he just looks and does the same in every film, but in this he did a really good job, although actually the young guy who plays Johnny when he's a teenager was pretty good.

I loved Blackheart, the actor was great and Peter Fonda did a great job as the devil.
Effects were simple, but effective and there were some occasional comedic moments in there too.
It's well worth a watch.

I have to say I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Went last night, expecting to be really disappointed and I wasnt even close. If you want to get into the comic book aspect then yeah the chain could have been used a lot more (like GR did use it in the comics). Even so, I liked Ghostrider.

Though I almost hoped to at one point hear "Thank you mephistopheles for pimping my ride!"

I thought it was ok. Didn't like Nic Cage in it. He was acting like he was Elvis. Ghost Rider itself was good though
