I'd still like to see King Sol myself. _________________ "Right so we're going to steal a bomb that can be remote detonated, take it back to our base and then huddle around it? That sounds like a great plan." |

Yep, Mayans were mentioned! _________________ Pagan Music |

Seen as the wish list is growing I would be interested in the history of the protectors - how they started, was it all volunteers etc, or possibly even something set in Xetesk - citizens being dragged off the streets, the politics of the Mount (and the catacombs). It seems one of the murkier parts of Balaia and I suspect there are a lot of stories to tell. _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |

Sweet! Another awesome and interesting culture, along with the inevitable question everyone asks, 'What happened to their civilization?' _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Actually it doesn't, it suggests possibilities.
Had a thought earlier... The Encyclopedia of Balaian character histories. I wonder whether that would be bigger than the Britanica. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Mayans may well be involved somewhere but not as themselves, more like transplanting their culture into another world, like with the Ascendants.
So, General, no crossover with you
Was in Mexico recently. The Mayan sites are incredible. Such mystery surrounds them too. Really fascinating.
And sticking with the 'm' letter, Minoan culture is another I'm interested in and want to use. Another great society that fell apart and no one really knows how or why. Plenty of scope there... _________________ 'A human with a hand outstretched in friendship carries the fangs of a taipan in his palm.' A TaiGethen saying. |

But enough of none thread relative discussions.
And I vote for the tales of Will and Thraun, sort of a Thieves World or Ffarad and Grey Mouser stories. I bet Will has a really good back story. |
I'm in complete agreement with Malop, Will and Thraun tales would be great. _________________ A very happy Yule to all!!
