Well up to now you have.... *counts* one... two... three... you have four books currently out with a fifth due at some point in late 2007. And Martin's said he doesn't know how many books the series could end up being... it started life as a trilogy!

However, you will enjoy the books. There's a lot of characters in there to sink your teeth into. And when it comes time to re-read (if you do) you'll highly enjoy them. Just ask Manty..!!

definately!

Finally finished Storm of Swords and now working my way, for the first time, through A Feast of Crows. they're awesome books but i wish he'd pull his finger out.

we're only getting Dance of Dragons so soon because Feast of Crows was far to big to release as one novel so he split it into two.

And for the record my Favourite character from the story is Jon Snow, Bastard of Winterfell.

He's my Dad's favourite too. I like Ned Stark... Jhered reminds me of him quite a bit.

I'm itching for Dance with Dragons to come out. The one after that will probably take about two years if past form is anything to go by... Crying or Very sad

I've not even finished the first book and isn't he dead? Crying or Very sad Unless there's some massively complex plot I missed.

If there are no major objections I've locked this thread and started a new one. We're trying to stop threads from getting too long.
