Not sure, as I didn't rate Underworld. Anyone read the book?

Series 3 of Battlestar Galactica started last night on Sky One. I recorded it and will almost certainly was lyrical about it in another thread shortly.

Frankly, it is consistently the best drama I've ever seen on TV. I refuase to accept I'm biased by the fact that it's sci-fi, it is just brilliant human observation, character and relations in the ultimate disaster setting (that would be fighting to stop human life being exterminated). Careful story-telling, tension crescendos, superb action sequences and intelligent, nay brilliant, scripting

For those who haven't seen it, hire the dvds and get a rare tv experience. Frankly, it alone is worth paying the whole of sky's monthly charge.

I quite like it.

You paint a good picture of Battelstar , I did see the Pilot episode and it had promise , I was sceptical that it would peter off like many good ideas that are serialised. I was initially disappointed that the silons (not sure how to spell) didnt look like they used too!, what was even wierder was the gay guy from Bridget Jones was meant to be this cool dark and evil anti hero. But now im tempted to watch the rest now, It was refreshing in the sense that it was set in space but didnt have that false and crappy feel to it that many Star Trek clones posses, with laughable purple headed characters who you cant take seriously.

Believe me, it is a very serious drama. And every episode is better than the last...

It's 'Cylons', by the way Smile
