I enjoyed it. Took a while to get going and was quite wordy at the start but about a third of the way through, the story picked up.

Will look out for Crusader Gold.

Regards
Rich

Just read The Book of Dead Days. A children's book which I enjoyed. Nicely written.

Now on Raven Dane's Blood Tears

George RR Martins - A Game of Thrones.
'Tis excellent. I've seen it recommended here many times, and they didn't have Shout for the Dead at the airport. Sad

Oh you're in trouble now. You'll be hooked and want to read the following books - the series isn't finished and won't be for many, many years unless Martin learns to write a lot faster, but the ones that are here (and there's another due out this year - Dance with Dragons) are all worth reading. not a lot of fantasy out there can hold a candle to Martin.

Ah! I hate series that aren't finished! You wait ages for the next one and forget all of the plot twists so the next one doesn't make as much sense, unless you read the whole lot again (which with things like Wheel of Time is intolerable.)
