A friend of a friend has a termally Ill child, who goes to Childrens Hospice South West, so being a glutten for punishment (and since i love paintball and children) i persuaded the site owner to do a charity day for the hospice.

If anyone is interested its on december 16th at our littleton site.

go to www.nemesispaintball.info and trundle over to the extra's page and have a look at the poster. If anyone is in the area and want to come and watch us play (and donate to the cause) let me know and i'll give you directions.

Manty - hoping to raise a fortune!!

Are you contacting other sites? Plenty have home teams and interested punters. You might get some to announce something to their punters. I'm afriad I can't make it that day or I'd be sorely tempted to dust off hte old Line SI Bushmaster and pretend I was a good player again.

Sigh

not other paintball sites as such though a site in sherborne is sending players down. over the past few months we have had quite a few local groups come up so we have targeted them first.

i've never been "that" good but its the beauty of playing in a team i play with people who are and sometimes, just sometimes my star will shine a bit brighter.

The offers there for a game anytime James.

One day, Manty, one day... it's a long time since I was a tournament player and the technology has changed so much... my old gun is prehistoric in comparison. I've played a few times as a regular punter but my last tourney was way back in 1990 when we (that is The Turks) came 2nd in the European Open. Ah... good days. Mind you, we should have won.

Long Live Paintball.

*gulps*

we're woodland players, who like to think we're good!! too much food and too little exercise means i'm slightly heavier than i should be to play Embarassed but it doesn't stop me from trying.

technology has improved and changed over the years though our markers (the PC term for paintball guns now!) are modified Tippmann A5's, which are slightly better than standard site guns. We play for laughs and don't take it too seriously!.

One day comes eventually......

What a blast!!

It went well with two equal teams of players. There guns had a higher rate of fire than our but we have good solid team work.

We kicked ass!!!

Got a live band and loads of beer tonight, still raising money though!
