just starting "A Game of Thrones" by George R R Martin, well re-reading them all again, so i can read the new one.

i really struggled in choosing something to read next. I have so many series with books to read it was a difficult one for me as i don't like to read a series without re-reading the previous books.

i have

Katharine Kerr - Deverry books (10 to read to get to the latest 2)
Robert Jordan - Wheel of Shite (oops i mean time) 10 books to read
Terry Goodkind - The Sword of Truth (6 or so to read before i get to the
4 i haven't read.
plus others................. Crying or Very sad

Ive heard of people re-reading the previous book in order to get aquainted with the story , but let me get this clear , you will re-read 10 books before you start the newest one of the series , wow thats dedication . I simply couldnt do that , unless i read at the spead of light.

As I got 'Herrin der L?ge' as birthday-present (totally surprising, as I told my mother only every 2nd day, that I desperatly wanted this book Wink ) I'm reading it, know. It's great, wish I had more time for reading, at the moment, but now, there's this damned chemistry-test on Thursday Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad .

Just finished the Devil and miss prym by Paul coelho - not my usual reading choice but it was given to me by a girl , and granted it was quite good , fairly insightful. I am now about to read the Bone collector by Jeffery Deaver an author whom i have never read, anyone know if he is any good?. My new techique for finding appealing novels is to watch the movie and then ascertain whether the book would be infinately more in depth and revealing ( accepted it is almost always the book that is better) often i watch great movies and cant help feeling they have missed whopping chunks out of the story or taken shortcuts which have ruined or changed the storyline in order to streamline it. The Bourne identity is a prime example and as the movies continue they move further from the books, sorry I am talking to myself here but I am bored and thinking out loud.
