We had Christmas plays at school but we never did the nativity.
Little boy did his nativity today and we went and watched. he was an angel

I was never in the nativity but I did get to be Jack Forst in one christmas play. I practically invented that scary waggly fingers thing when I was 6. _________________ "Right so we're going to steal a bomb that can be remote detonated, take it back to our base and then huddle around it? I was a shephard, then I was an angel. lmao, now that's a joke. Bloody nativity plays.
Apparently, my nephew is taking after auntie again and being an angel in the play.

I could of course get arsey about this and say that technically speaking Paganism was the belief of all British people long before christianity came along and therefore it wouldn't be out of place to have a christmas play that has nothing to do with christmas, but perhaps I shouldn't go there, huh? _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

I was always third shepherd for some reason... tea towel and snake belt on head etc. My line was always hte same too:
'Let us go unto Bethlehem and see this thing which has come to pass.'
It is writing of such quality that inspired the likes of Tolstoy, you know. _________________ 'A human with a hand outstretched in friendship carries the fangs of a taipan in his palm.' A TaiGethen saying. |
