I've now finished Gears of War and I have to say it was great.
It's now left a hole
Nevermind, I hear they're going to make it at least a trilogy.
Oh well, on to Splinter Cell: Double Agent. _________________ "Man, all this prolonged exposure to radiation is making me thirsty." |

i found Gears of war to be a tad short. I really enjoyed it though and i am currently now playing through on hardcore difficulty...eventually moving onto insane...its going to be frustrating =-/ _________________

Sadly Gears of War is typical in it's length for an FPS. The average FPS takes between 10-12 hours to complete.
Great game though
I've yet to try the harder difficulty levels, I bet it's even better.
Tempted to try FEAR soon. Looks good _________________ "Man, all this prolonged exposure to radiation is making me thirsty." |

Just tried out FIFA 07 for the first time. Absolutely superb. Best FIFA ever. _________________ 'A human with a hand outstretched in friendship carries the fangs of a taipan in his palm.' A TaiGethen saying. |

I just dont get the FIFA games , they are unresponsive ulrealistic and the computer takes to doing what the hell he likes with your players ,only the myriad of stats gives it any positive points in my mind, give me pro Evolution any time. _________________ I always knew Chang was Chinese Intelligence.

Looking forward to playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance for XBox 360. Looks great. I get to play Spiderman & Wolverine
If I were to get a football game I wouldn't know which one to get. Some say FIFA, some say Pro Evo. _________________ "Man, all this prolonged exposure to radiation is making me thirsty." |

that is true of every edition between FIFA 02 and FIFA 07. These two are excellent in terms of gameplay and the latter adds some great features which take away some of the earlier demons from the computer players by giving you more abilities (holding off players, trapping, cushioning etc.) All good stuff. _________________ 'A human with a hand outstretched in friendship carries the fangs of a taipan in his palm.' No insult to Fifa but i dont really think of it as a really footy game, granted it may have improved but i find myself a little hacked off with EA in general , their games become more generic every season (for they come every season now) , only the ice hockey series bare any real fruit and even then they are becoming more banal and indistinguishable from the previous incarnation. Oh Burnout is good also.
Evo is about sheer playability, this was proved even early on in the series when they had no official statistics but still sold like hotcakes and played like a dream.
Not sure how fast hotcakes sell but im sure its pretty fast. _________________ I always knew Chang was Chinese Intelligence.
