Terminator 1 and 2 rock
The whole time loop thing does my head in a bit though, as in because they destroyed Arnie in the second he wouldn't have been built so wouldn't have turned up in the first etc ......
He was made for that role though it has to be said. _________________

What about the bit where John's father (Kyle?) comes back from the future to sire him, even though he couldn't have been sent back by John because he wasn't born yet...
Apart from time loop issues, which alwasy confuse me, it is a good film. And T2 isn't too bad either, but it's a different genre to the first one I think. _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |

Exactly totally messes with your head if you analyse it
I like how tough Linda Hamilton is in the second one _________________

I forgot 'Some mother's son', I really loved it, Schindler's List, too, but both are really depressing, _________________ The question that sometimes drives me hazy: Am I, or the others crazy?

I've been thinking about this...
All of the LOTR films were great, Star Wars (the original trilogy) are of course movie classic's. As is The Matrix, Edward Scissorhands and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
I have however decided that my favourite film is actually Pirates Of The Caribbean:The Curse Of The Black Pearl. Yes its a family film, Yes Orlando Bloom is really not very good at being anything but an elf and yes its fairly predictable, but it has by far one of the best characters from any film ever - Captain Jack Sparrow! The first time I saw this film I nearly peed from how much I laughed. Johnny Depp is just amazing in this role. The film itself doesn't try to be anything other than entertaining and if you've got the two disc DVD the pirate bloopers are just hysterical.
if its not already very obvious I really love this film. Savvy. _________________ A very happy Yule to all!!

Would now be a bad moment to state that I don't like Terminator movies at all? _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

to me the first one was awesome. it creeped me out but i couldn't turn away from it. the second one was a good old action flick with role reversal. Sarah Conner becoming more machine like and the "terminator" more human. the third one was sheer tripe compared to these though i bought it because it completed the trilogy (like i bought the other Matrix films but that is a completely different story.) |

Matrix (One) - good film. Matrix (Two) - fair to middling. Matrix (Three) - oh dear! _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |

Highlander first , awsome. Gladiator and butterfly effect not far behind.
Favourite film doesnt always mean most watchable though , I couldn't watch any of the above again and again at any time really. For watchability, Blade 1 and Back to the future. _________________ I always knew Chang was Chinese Intelligence.
