this is a four part series which explores more of the world that started with the "five tales of Einarinn"

i'm reading "Northern storm" which is book two of the Compass series and i come across this sentence on page 131 (paperback)

".....i want to be certain there is still no sign of any of the vermin lurking in Balaia or.................."

not quite true. the first of the five tales of Einarinn is called The Thief's Gamble, followed by The Swordsmans oath, The Gamblers Fortune, The Warriors Bond, The Assassins edge.

The Aldabreshin compass consists of Southern fire, Northern Storm, Western Shore and Eastern Tide.

the one thing i don't like about this series is the overuse of personal thoughts. it feels like its occurring on almost everypage.
