Graphic novels are great. Very Happy I'm a particular fan of Alan Moore - especially Watchmen, V for Vendetta and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (so very different to the films!).

My own fantasy trilogy doesn't contain magic; I don't feel magic is necessary to the story. Anne McCaffery's Pern is definately fantasy, but there's no magic in there either...

Absolutely brilliant film - it has made every film I've seen since an immediate let down (Not that X Files needed any help for that. Evil or Very Mad It was awful!).
Heath Ledger is a great loss to Hollywoo ...

A Dirty Job and various other books by Christopher Moore. He takes fantasy concepts such as vampires and the Grim Reaper and messes with them. The outcome is absolutely hilarious. Very Happy

I used to be a PC fan, but my new laptop runs on Vista, and I've yet to find a single game which will run properly on it. So much for compatability... I don't have the money to buy the new games for V ...

I prefer subtitles to bad dubbing!

I've always found when I watch a subtitled film I end up hearing the written words instead of the froeign language. Does that make sense?

So, what's the general opinion on foreign language (therefore subtitled) films? Is it worth the trouble of reading the subtitles or should we just stick to our own languages?

I don't see why. Confused The PS3 and the Xbox 360 are both better platforms. The weird controls on the Wii are nice, but I think the graphics and game complexity have been woefully neglected for the sake ...
